Brenda Edith Bentley

Mrs Brenda Edith Bentley, also known as Ma Boswell of Tennyson Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Monday, May 6, 2013, aged 78 years.

During her life Brenda worked as a cleaner in and around Accrington and Blackburn.  She greatly enjoyed playing bingo, spending time gardening and also knitting.

Brenda leaves behind her much loved and cherished children Ben, Martin, Alan, Deborah, Tony and Lee, her treasured grandchildren, Donna, Lesley, Danny, Carla and Lisa, and also her much loved great- grandchildren, Erin and Theo.

“Brenda will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.”

A funeral service will be held on Friday 17^th May 2013 at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium.  Family flowers only please but donations are welcomed in memory of Brenda and may be sent for the Stroke Society c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
