Bernard Sharp
Bernard Sharp of Lime Avenue, Oswaldtwistle died on Friday 26th August 2016, aged 62 years. He passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home, unfortunately Bernard was still in mourning for “Hilda” his long term partner and the love of his life. Hilda had only passed away some four weeks earlier.
He spent his working life in the meat trade and then later in the building trade until his health deteriorated. He loved his animals especially dogs and horses. Bernard also enjoyed cooking and was very good at it and would regularly make broth or ham shank and peas for his friends.
Bernard was the much loved son of the late Wilf and Ethel, he leaves behind his brothers Jim and John and sister Christine. He was also a dear brother to Dennis and David also sadly deceased.
“Bernard will be very sadly missed by all his family, neighbours and friends, especially those from his local.”
His funeral service will take place at 9.40am on Thursday 8th September 2016 at Accrington Crematorium, followed by a reception at the Rhoden Inn, Oswaldtwistle.
