Barbara Boardman

Barbara Boardman died peacefully with her husband by her side in Springhill Care Home on Thursday, June 5, 2014, aged 80 years.

During her life Barbara was a boarding house proprietor in Blackpool and also a loving house wife and mother.  She greatly enjoyed cooking, music, dancing and singing.

The dearly loved wife of Ronnie, a much loved mother of Susan and her late son Bobby, a dear sister of Carol, Pamela and the late Barry, a treasured grandma of Adam and a dear Auntie of Tracy, Janet, Paul and the late Tony.

“Barbara will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.”

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 12.20pm at Accrington Crematorium prior to cremation.

Family flowers only please, but donations are welcomed in memory of Barbara for the Dementia Patients on the Dementia Ward at Springhill Care Home c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. Tel: 01254 390542.
