Alwyne Berry

Alwyne Berry of Elmfield Street, Church, Accrington, died peacefully on Tuesday 23^rd January 2024, aged 87 years.

During her working life Alwyne worked for Co-Op Electrical as well as at Express Gifts / Joseph Arnolds.

In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed knitting, days out to Cleveleys and Blackpool, doing jigsaws as well as watching bowling at Gatty Park where she was a member.

A dearly loved wife of the late Raymond, a much loved mum of Rachel and David, a treasured nana of Cameron and Lucy.  Also a dear sister of Barbara, the late Keith and the late David, sister in law of Teresa and a loving “Auntie Alwyne” to her nieces, nephews and many who knew her.

Alwyne will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3.00pm on Tuesday 13^th February 2024 at Accrington Crematorium Chapel.
