Alec Mackereth

Alec Mackereth of Milnshaw Gardens, Accrington, passed away in Wythenshawe Hospital on Thursday 15^th November 2018, aged 70 years.

During his life Alec was a time served plumber and enjoyed renovating properties which included a hotel in Durban, South Africa.  He was also a Blackburn Rovers supporter.

In his spare time he greatly enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, running and going on holidays abroad.  He was also a keen gardener.

Alec sadly leaves behind his much loved sons, Peter and Paul, his dear daughter in law Melanie, his treasured grandaughters Poppy, Hattie, Lola and Lucy and his dear sister Vera.  He was also a loving husband of the late Denise.

His funeral service will be held at 10.20am on Monday 3^rd December 2018 at Accrington Cemetery Chapel prior to interment in Accrington Cemetery.
