Adrienne McLoughlin

Adrienne McLoughlin of Downham Drive, Accrington died peacefully at home after a brave battle against illness on Wednesday 17^th December, 2014, aged 83 years.

During her life Adrienne was a full time “9 til 5”child minder for her grandchildren.  Throughout her life Adrienne has enjoyed travelling, she has travelled far and wide for 60 years and has visited many countries including Egypt, Austrailia, Spain, France and Morocco. She greatly enjoyed going on day trips, especially with her grandchildren and holidays to Butlins and Blackpool.   She also spent time going to Benidorm with her daughters and her recent last trip out was to the Accrington Christmas Lights Switch on.

Adrienne leaves behind her much loved children David, Julie, Lynda and Trevor, her dearly loved daughter in law Iris and son in law Liron, her treasured grandchildren Jamie and Sab, Shareen, Suzanne, Gary, Ashley, Daniel, Trevor, Dominic and her cherished great grandchildren Katelyn and Scarlot.

A funeral service will be held on Monday 29^th December, 2014 at 3.00pm at Accrington Crematorium prior to cremation.  Flowers are welcome and may be sent to Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. Tel: 01254 390542.
