Zachary Lowens

Zac LowensZach Lowens of Sutton Manor, St Helens, passed away peacefully in his sleep in Whiston Hospital on Sunday 4th March 2018, aged 38 years.

A Woodnook child of the 80’s, young Zach grew up in Accrington surrounded by friends, his black Labrador Rosco and music.  He attended Woodnook Primary School before moving up to Hollins High School.  He later enrolled onto a Land Management course at Burnley college and then progressed into further education at Manchester Metropolitan University where he went on to accomplish a 2.1 Bsc and a Masters in Environmental Science, he later put these great credentials to good use working as an Environmental Consultant.

Blessed by the arrival of his beloved daughter Lauren, Zach developed a deep sense of responsibility for the world and enjoyed a happy family life with his partner Kirsty and her two sons. He also loved walking the dog, going to the gym, films, Astronomy as well as fights between “pop and techno” and riotous football banter.

He sadly leaves behind his dearly loved mother Gillian and his much loved siblings Luke, Alec and Lorna, his daughter Lauren, his loving partner Kirsty, her two sons Ben and Kieran and many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3.00pm, on Monday 19th March 2018 at Accrington Crematorium, Burnley Road, Accrington, Lancashire. BB5 6HA.
