Mr Jack Hudson
Jack Hudson of Clayton-Le-Moors died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 aged 81 years.
He started his working life as an apprentice at Ramsbottom’s in Accrington before setting up his own business – Jack Hudson’s Building Company, 25 years later he changed career and moved to Hyndburn Borough Council before finishing his working career at the age of 58.
Jack greatly enjoyed football, cricket and crown green bowling. He was a long serving President of Accrington Stanley Football Club and enjoyed seeing their rise to the football league. He was also the Chairman of Grange Bowling Club and a life member of Enfield Cricket Club.
He leaves behind his dearly loved wife Brenda, his much loved children Mark and Vivien, his daughter in law Jayne, son in law Jim, his treasured grandchildren Tilly, Ryan and Natalie and his cherished great grandchildren James and Gabriel.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11.00am at All Saints Church, Clayton-Le-Moors prior to cremation at Accrington Crematorium.
