Margaret Waine Catlow

Margaret Waine Catlow, of Ramsgreave, Blackburn died peacefully in her own restful surroundings at home on Saturday 13^th June, 2015, aged 85 years.

Born in Clayton-Le-Moors, Margaret lived a very full and content life. During her life Margaret had a varied career which included being a Chiropodist in Oswaldtwistle and also working at Lucas’ in Burnley.  In 1952 she married her beloved Geoffery.  Before settling down in Ramsgreave (where she lived for just over 50 years), Margaret also lived for a time at Higher Ford in Nelson and also out in Germany with her family whilst her father served in the Army.

Margaret enjoyed playing Bridge for the Lancashire Ladies and also took pleasure “out on the course” at Wilpshire and Great Harwood Golf Club.

Margaret was the dearly loved wife of the late Geoffrey, a much loved mother of Mike and Pete, a loving grandmother to Jennifer, Emma, Hannah and James and a dear sister of Pamela.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday 19^th June, 2015, (today) at Accrington Crematorium, at 12.20pm.  Family flowers only please but donations are welcomed in memory of Margaret for The East Lancashire Hospice c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
