John (Jack) Keith McLoughlin

John (Jack) Keith McLoughlinMr John Keith McLoughlin of Shadsworth and formerly of Church, Accrington, died peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, aged 77 years.

Jack as he was known to his friends was a hard worker and during his life worked at Priority Plant Hire as a low loader driver for 25 years before working as a drayman for Thwaites Brewery until his retirement.  In his spare time Jack enjoyed sequence dancing, steam engines, driving and gardening but most of all he loved socialising with his family and friends especially going to St Stephen’s Club in Little Harwood.

Jack leaves behind his dearly loving wife Sonia, his much loved children Linda, Angela, Mark, Shaun, Dawn and Wayne, his treasured grandchildren Kerry, Jason, Chantelle, Tom, Dale, Nathan, Kelly, Hayley, Keeley, Rhys, Ella, Declan, and his cherished great grandchildren Hannah, Alice, Molly, Daniel, Ella, Jack, Olivia, Alice, Gabriella and Ava.  He was also a dear father in law and a loving brother to Ken and Celia and brother in law Brian.

“Jack was a great friend to many and he will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.”

A funeral service will be held on Friday 10th January at 1.00pm at Accrington Crematorium prior to cremation.  Family flowers only please but donations are welcomed in memory of Jack for the East Lancashire Hospice, and may be sent c/o Paul Barton at Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
