Florence Newham
Florence Newham, of Warwick Street, Church died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Tuesday 9th June, 2015, aged 80 years.
On leaving school Florence started her working life as a chambermaid before moving and working in the cotton mill as a weaver, where she met her future husband Derek. She later went on to work part-time whilst raising her four children.
In her spare time Florence greatly enjoyed knitting and sewing, but most of all she loved spending time with her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A dearly loved wife of the late Derek, a much loved mother of Allan, Ian, Janet and Tony, a dear sister to Dorothy and the late Tony and Donald, a beloved grandma and treasured great grandma. Florence will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 17th June, at Accrington Crematorium, at 3.00pm.
