Annie Moore

Annie Moore of Poulton Le Fylde, formerly of Langho died peacefully whilst surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home on Tuesday 20^th January, 2015, aged 82 years.

During her life Annie worked as a cotton winder for Prospect Mill in Blackburn and also later on at Billington.  She enjoyed socialising and was a member of Rishton Conservative Club as well as various other local clubs. Annie also took pleasure in spending time with her family and loved her holidays especially in Fuengirola and Benidorm.  She also liked knitting and her beloved “Westies”.

Annie leaves behind her dearly loved husband Fred, her much loved children Ian and June, her dear son in law Ian and daughter in law Michaela, her treasured grandchildren Matthew, Tarnya, Samantha, Scott, Macauley and Sophie and her cherished great grandchildren Kira, Miah, Alycia, John, Finley and Kaiden.

“Annie will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.”

A service will be held at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Rishton on Friday 30^th January 2015, at 1.15pm prior to interment in Gt Harwood Cemetery.  Flowers are welcome and may be sent c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136-8 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. Tel: 01254 390542.
