Margaret Boal of St Alban’s Close, Rishton and formerly of Windsor Road, Knuzden, passed away peacefully on Saturday 5th September 2026, surrounded by her loving family, aged 83 years.
During her working life Margaret worked for over 25 years at Brierley’s Children’s Clothing and later at Queens Park Hospital, up until taking her retirement.
Her family was her world and in her spare time and during her retirement, she greatly enjoyed spending time with them. She also liked watching TV as well as going away on holiday and has travelled all over the UK. She also loved meeting her sister and her friend once a week to have a brew and a chat.
Margaret sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband Jim, her much loved sons Lyndon and Calvin, her treasured grandson’s Cavan, Luke, Dylan and Harry and her great grandchild Brody. She was also a dear sister, auntie and friend.
She will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.
A celebration of life service was held at 1.00pm, on Wednesday 30th September 2026, at St Peter & St Paul’s Parish Church, Rishton, prior to interment at Lee Lane Cemetery.
