Iris McLoughlin of St Mary’s Court, Clayton-Le-Moors, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday 20th December 2022, aged 73 years.
In her early years of employment Iris worked in the engineering industry and later in life as a carer at a retirement home. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching TV, especially her soaps as well as watching any type of medical programmes both real and fictional. She also liked spending time with friends and as she was housebound, she greatly enjoyed the company of her good and loyal friends when they called round to see her.
Iris sadly leaves behind her dearly loved husband David, her much loved daughter Amy and her partner Damien, her treasured grandson Lewis and her other dear family members John, Denise, Sharon and Tina. She was also very dear to the late Janet and the late Malcolm, also a friend to many.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 3.00pm on Friday 6th January 2023, at Accrington Crematorium.
