Raymond Kay

Raymond Kay of Rhyddings Street, Oswaldtwistle, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on Tuesday 4^th April 2023, aged 63 years.

During his life Ray worked at the Chatburn Mill, as well as at William Blythes and also DNB Cabinets.

In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed going away for the weekend, especially to the Lake District. He also loved his holidays abroad to Turkey and his trips over to Ireland, where he loved to go fishing.  Back at home, he enjoyed socialising with his family and friends and loved going for meals out in Chatburn and Skipton. He also liked playing dominoes in the Heys Pub, and watching his favourite football team of Blackburn Rovers, of which he was a keen supporter.

Ray sadly leaves behind his much loved son Mitchel, his loving partner Pat as well as  many, many friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3.40pm, on Friday 21^st April 2023, at Accrington Crematorium.
