Brian Barnes

Brian Barnes of Foxhill Bank Lodge, Oswaldtwistle, passed away on the 21^st January 2023, aged 83 years.

For most of his working life Brian was a motor vehicle dismantler and also owned his own scrap yard, for which he was very well known for.

In his spare time and during his retirement he was a passionate classic car enthusiast and regularly attended many car shows and steam rally’s.  He was also a general and all-round wheeler dealer.

Brian sadly leaves behind his dearly loved wife Pauline, his much loved children Ben and Pamela and his treasured grandchildren James, Jay and Katey.

He will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Anyone who knew Brian are more than welcome to attend his funeral to pay their last respects.

His funeral service will take place at 12noon, on Wednesday 8^th February 2023, at St Paul’s Church, Oswaldtwistle, prior to interment at Dill Hall Cemetery.
