Harold Gregson passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday 10th July 2018, aged 77 years.

He grew up in Oswaldtwistle and started his early school years at Hippings Methodist before moving up to Accrington Grammar School.  He later went to work for the Halifax Building Society where he stayed for over 36 years.  In his spare time and during his retirement Harold was a steam train enthusiast and a member of the East Lancashire Railway (Preservation Society), he also took pleasure in the art of model railways, especially when putting together and constructing his own.  He also enjoyed Tai Chi and Cajun Dancing and was a devout, life-long Accrington Stanley fan.

Harold sadly leaves behind his dearly loved wife of 54 years Kath, his much loved children David, Andrew and Suzanne and his treasured grand children Jenna, Kailey, Cameron, Alex, Ewan, Oliver, Alexander and Liam.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12.20pm, on Wednesday 18th July 2018 at Accrington Crematorium.
