Brought up in Rishton, Jack attended St Charles RC Primary School and then progressed up to Norden High School. In his later years he was a helper for the North West Air Ambulance, the East Lancashire Hospice, Marie Curie Cancer and also a member of the Operatic Club in Oswaldtwistle.
In his spare time he loved walking, including hill walking, especially accompanied by his dog Roxy. He enjoyed travelling around the UK and also abroad. He liked watching the racing and also listening to music, the 60’s and 80’s being his favourite music decades, but most of all Jack loved spending time with his family and friends.
A much loved father of Jackie, the late Stephen, the late Little Jack and Charlotte, a dear father in law of Alison, a special person to Marie Kim, Gaz, Leah and Jessica, a dear brother of Jim, Michael, Robert and David and a good friend of Graham, Chris and Dave.
