Throughout her life Evonne lived and breathed Accrington. She has had a variety of careers during her working life including as a café worker, a market stall holder, a caterer, a florist but she is without a doubt best known for having her shop, her beloved Pink Magpie Vintage Emporium on Warner Street along with her partner Guy.
Evonne both created and took part in fabulous events and shined as a member of Hyndburn’s Chamber of Trade, she was also a member of the Hyndburn Town Team and also helped on the Mayor & Mayoress’s Charity Committee.
In her spare time Evonne loved crafting, flower arranging, recycling & upcycling furniture and music. She was also an accomplished pianist, guitarist and singer. Over the years she has enjoyed holidays in Spain, Paris, Belgium and also visited America several times, she also liked walking especially at Snowdonia and the Lake District.
Evonne sadly leaves behind her much loved partner Guy, her dear ex-husband Paul, her dearly loved children Sarah and John, her treasured grandchildren, Chloe, Reece and Ashley and her cherished great grandchild Holly Mae, her dear brother Graham and also Stella her niece.
Evonne was a true “one-off” and will be deeply missed by all her loving family and friends.
