Kathleen has always led a full life and over the years worked at many places.  On leaving school she worked at Broad Oak, her other jobs included bar work at The Stanhill, The Foxhill and also the White Bull in Oswaldtwistle.  She also worked for Littlewoods Catalogue for many years, as well as Vine Mill in Ossy, and more recently Kathleen worked for Hyndburn Borough Council in Accrington Town Hall until her retirement.
