Raymond BerryMr Raymond Berry of Elmfield Street, Church, died suddenly but peacefully after a short illness in the Royal Blakburn hospital on Monday, October 27, 2014, aged 79 years.

During most of his life Raymond worked at English Electric.  He was also a member of Gatty Park Bowling Club, Oswaldtwistle Social Club as well as a long term member of Springhill WMC.  Raymond greatly enjoyed sport, especially bowling, watching football and playing snooker for the team at Oswaldtwistle Con Club.

Raymond leaves behind his dearly loved wife Alwyne, his much loved children David and Rachel and his treasured grandchildren Cameron and Lucy.

“Raymond will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.”

A funeral service will be held on Monday 3rd November at 12.20pm at Accrington Crematorium prior to cremation.  Family flowers only please but donations are welcome in memory of Raymond for Macmillan Cancer Support or the British Heart Foundation and may be sent c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
