Allan ShawMr Allan Shaw of Trinity St, Oswaldtwistle, died peacefully at home after a long illness on Thursday, February 27, 2014, aged 62 years.

During his life Allan worked as a Welder, he worked for Emerson & Renwick until 2001 and then moved on to Harrison Engineering.  He was a member of the Pioneer WMC in Church until its closure a few years ago.

Allan greatly enjoyed sport, especially horse racing, darts and snooker, but above all football and was a keen Blackburn Rovers supporter.

Allan leaves behind his dearly loved wife Michaela, his much loved sons Steven, Simon, Daniel and Anthony,  his dear daughter in laws Helen and Clare and his treasured grandchildren Lewis, Hayley, Thomas, Maisie and Rubbie.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 12th March at 9.40am at Accrington Crematorium prior to cremation.  Family flowers only please but donations are welcome in memory of Allan for Accrington District Nurses and may be sent c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
